What I think Obama's answer should be to the seceding states

The states should receive a sheet of paper with a one word handwritten response: "Nuts".

I'm sure, just like the Germans who got that same reply concerning surrender from Patton during WWII, they won't know how to interpret it. "Is he calling us nuts?" "Is he talking about his testicles?" "Does he have the munchies?"

They have the same option they gave us in 2000-2008 ...

We won, and I don't intend to let anyone get away with it this time either. Sore losers can just get over it, and if they don't like the USA anymore, they can review their personal options and leave the majority of us alone.

IIRC, it was Matthew Ridgeway, commander of the 101st Airborne in Bastogne.

But i get your drift.

on edit: My bad, it was Anthony McAuliffe.

I'm not going to change it because so many wouldn't know about the quote at all without the context, but know I'll know forever.

I never even heard of McAuliffe, but the reply is legendary.

I'd think all these tough guys who think they can just build a a fence around their states would have to hear is "All options are on the table". They, more than anyone, know what that means, but you're right. It's just blustering about not getting their way.

president. Time to start thinking about other things you won't have ... like military bases, FEMA, the post office, NASA, FAA, DMV etc etc etc. You might also need a passport to come into any of the states that are still America.
