Is Vivek insane?

Oh who am I kidding? Of course he is. My brother is a first responder (emergency disaster management). His employers do not take shit from anyone. And he's also said that there are no do overs in his profession. You fuck up even slightly once, you're gone. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. This seems not only like a terrible idea, but potentially disastrous and deadly.

Especially with that part containing the 26th Amendment, which guarantees those 18 years and older the right to vote, whether he likes it or not. He has no fucking say in the matter, regardless of what office he might hold. I'm willing to bet this pompous asshole has never even read the Constitution.

They're definitely coming for the youth vote, because authoritarians want absolute power and that's the only way they will get it.

then previous young voting cohorts. Somebody trying to restrict their votes and make it so they can vote at 18 is just going to spur them to the polls.

They already hate trump and the Dobbs decision.

Making Social Security and Medicare sustainable? Painless: Neither benefit cuts nor revenue increases needed because sustained 5 percent economic growth is attainable partly by "abandoning the climate cult, drilling more, fracking more, burning coal unapologetically."

I hope all those people are paying close attention to this guy because he desperately needs an education.

I can't begin to wrap ,my head around this kind of ignorance. Most of those 18 year old kids wouldn't see 19.

I do agree they should be able to pass the test, something I think voters and people who hold public office whether elected or appointed, should also be able to do.

(Yes, I passed it, it's online)
