ForbesTrump faces federal charges over January 6, along with a potential indictment in Georgia over Trumps efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 electionwith the Fulton County district attorney Fani Willis reportedly considering charges including solicitation to commit election fraud and conspiracy to commit election fraud, according to sources who spoke to The Guardian.
Trumps statement comes as his former lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, conceded in a signed stipulation that he made false statements when he accused two Georgia election workers of mishandling ballots while counting the vote in Atlanta during the 2020 election. In a court filing, Giuliani said he no longer disputes that his statements were actionable and false. The former New York City mayor was sued by the election workers for defamation.
Last week, Trump revealed that federal prosecutors had sent him a target letter warning him that he could be indicted in relation to the January 6 attack. Deranged Jack Smith, the prosecutor with Joe Bidens DOJ, sent a letter stating that I am a TARGET of the January 6th Grand Jury investigation, Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform, giving me a very short 4 days to report to the Grand Jury, which almost always means an Arrest and Indictment.

(12,585 posts)Trump knows it, we know it. This is just another moment when the Orange Menace wants to beat his chest and pretend he's the biggest, the baddest.
Might as well stamp his feet like the toddler he's always been.

(3,220 posts)...Christmas bread (Stollen)?! This has happened multiple times now. Trump must be tweeting...er..."truthing"...things out so furiously that he ignores the spell-check (or doesn't care). I think I've now seen three or four "truths" of his that have this same error, and there are no doubt more.

(42,362 posts)Receiving a target letter is one thing, but Chump hasn't been charged with anything yet. It sounds like he's totally jumping the gun on this.
I really wish his attorneys would take away his cellphone and forbid him to post anything on social media. Every time he does this, he looks even more guilty. (And stupid.)
Just sayin'
