Their big donors are refusing to throw good money after bad. They are shutting off the spigot.

...I'd guess that a lot of the money going into Republican politics these days is going into PACs rather than the party apparatus.

I’ll bet there is some historian blogging and chronicling about the death of a political party. I’d like to follow this person.

It’s interesting to see the republicans die a death by 1,000 cuts. All self inflicted.

They let the nut jobs run the party in the last few years. People who know nothing about organization or proper business practices. Let them go bankrupt. No bail outs!
