The Special Counsel's office, led by Jack Smith, has submitted a motion to Judge Canon in the Mar-a-Lago classified documents criminal case against Donald Trump. The motion seeks an evaluation of whether Walt Nauta's attorney, Stanley Woodward, who represents multiple indicted and unindicted co-conspirators, as well as witnesses, should be disqualified from the case.
Special Counsel Jack Smith expressed to Judge Aileen Cannon that he is highly concerned about potential conflicts of interest involving Nauta's attorney, Stanley Woodward.
If Donald Trump is compensating Stanley Woodward to represent both the indicted and unindicted co-conspirators, as well as the witnesses, there exists a significant conflict of interest. Shouldn't he be promptly disqualified?
