This Krauthammer guy is an enormous, paranoid TOOL. He has fabricated this entire story and embellished with conjecture that follows no logic. The " sword" held over his head, OMG, not the "SWORD!?!?!" And on Election Day, how diabolical can that snob Obama be?!?!?! Once again, proves that Fox News and Associates cater to the LOWEST end of the redneck mentality.

Wed Nov 14, 2012, 02:25 PM
Nov 2012

He left out the fact that Cantor got wind of the affair on the 27th of October but did not see to alerting anyone until October 31, 6 days before the election. Or one could say, just enough time to make it seem like a huge scandal was breaking in the Obama administration, which of course would help swing the election to Romney. Just sayin'. Turns out though, all the people involved are Republicans. Even Krauthammer can't spin that. And by the way, where the hell does the commanding general of our forces in Afghanistan get the time to write and respond to what amounted to 20,000 or more pages documenting emails to the Jill Kelley woman? But it's all Obama's fault of course in the minds of these ass hat right wingers.

This is where they blame what they are doing on the dems. Then when it is brought up that they actually did it, the old, "both sides did it" thing is the meme, since they have already accused us. This is why most people believe that both sides are the same.

Klawhammer may be correct in assuming that Patraeus was nervous and careful because of his position.

But reading the guy's mind and then expanding that out to make the claim that the WH was using that to force him to give inaccurate testimony is journalistic malpractice at its lowest level.

always project what they are doing onto democrats. It is more plausible that it is CANTOR, who was trying to blackmail Petraus. Cantor did not tell any dems what was going on. He knew about this weeks before the election. I think Cantor wanted Gen P to fib in the Beghazi hearings in order to impeach Obama, if he won. Gen P wouldn't play and resigned.

Now, granted, I have not been following this closely; but from what I've been able to put together from a brief look at multiple sources ...

Didn't this matter come to light when a certain "shirt-less" FBI agent with a particular "world-view" and amorous designs, report it to two gop politicians?

Wasn't it the gop that were calling on Petraeus to testify before the hearing? What would the administration have to gain by getting Petraeus to testify in any particular way, when there are real-time communications that would have been recorded, transcribed then classified, that would support what the CIA had related to Dr. Rice? And, those communications would be easily discovered be the hearing?
