We treat Trump like a normal defendant and that is our mistake. Trump feels the process is beneath him and that he is innocent. Nobody tells him what to do or say. He is a nightmare for his attorneys and he will actually freak out if he is locked up. Glen Kurshner said that once a defendant is locked up pre trial they almost never get released prior to trial because the terms of why they were jailed have not changed.

You can't post from prison and you can't make videos or appearances. Trump doesn't believe the rules apply to him. FAFO.

I do think he is taunting the judge and trying to evoke some sort of mistake on her part.
And daring her to do anything.

However it can be taken as witness tampering. Once the process of discovery is done and the witness list is presented to Trumps counsel Trump can no longer speak about or try to contact those individuals. It it is clear from the charging documents that Mike Pence will be one of the star witnesses.

I don't think merely calling a witness who's testifying against you a liar and a bad person would count for what's out-of-bounds for Trump at the moment, unless the conditions of his release are a lot stricter than I'd guess.
