I clicked on the Threads link to get to that Thread below Tiedrich's Thread.
Here is a little text from it....
TRUMP TO DOJ:
"Just say that the election was corrupt and leave the rest to me and the Republican Congressmen."
I remember that statement Trump made. Sounded kinda ominous, like they got over half the GOP House on their side, just waiting to trash democracy.
Did Jack Smith ever ask Trump, or anyone, to define who those "Republican Congressmen" were? I hope there are at least some investigations going on about them, but I suppose not, or else they'd probably be running to right-wing media squealing like piglets. I have heard nothing about GOP House members being questioned. Hopefully those indictments will come later.
I've looked, unsuccessfully, for a list of those "Republican Congressmen." There is a list on that Thread but don't know how to copy it and put it here. Have to wonder how they composed that list. Some names are obvious, many are not.

(43,307 posts)Keep in mind that Jack Smith could have GOP House and Senate members on his radar as targets, which is why none of them were subpoenaed to testify before his DC criminal grand jury -- the legal understanding (from Weissman and others) being that those who go before grand juries are not themselves targets. So there's that.
That these congress people are targets rises to the level of probability, imo.

(43,307 posts)He should be able to get evidence beyond a reasonable doubt of their aiding and abetting, conspiring to defraud the US (fake electors involvement), and conspiring to obstruct an official proceeding.
Even just one of charge out of any of these would have each of them lawyering up.

(10,788 posts)Those would be the most probable of future indictees (if there is such a word).
