Got to realize what Trump is doing

He is literally daring the judge to ban him from social media or jail him somehow.

This is a strategy to him. He will use anything that happens as a fundraising gold mine (in the sense that it's something he can just keep coming back to over and over again) and likely get all his opponents to side with him, those making them toothless and inept.

He will lose this case but he doesn't care. In his mind, he just needs to win with Republicans and completely eliminate his opponents as a factor.

It's never been about "winning" for him. It's about power and feeding his narcissism. He will do whatever it takes to achieve those goals.

First, no jail, no ban on social media.

Second, every time TFG reveals something he shouldn't, the Judge should strike any papers filed in court on his behalf for his defense.

Yes he is daring the judge to sanction him. Maybe in his demented mind, he thinks he can get the Magats to storm the courthouse. Or he can grift for money. But the thing is, the more he is allowed flount the court rules, the more he will do it, and do it outrageously. More importantly, he's showing his magats that they too have the "right" to trash and disregard our court system.

How many now have been convicted of their J6 riot? That hasn't been lost on them, and why his court arraignments have only had a few Magats show up to demonstrate. If he is in jail, he won't be able to post squat. No interviews, no media, no attention.

Then when he’s gone too far, he will say he was only kidding that it was a joke.

Only this time he won’t be able to wiggle out of this with his bullshit and bluster.

He phony “charm” or ego driven charism won’t save him this time

Not my tweet but he always has an ulterior motive and this is likely it or close to it:

Trump is blatantly trying to escalate his case to SCOTUS where he feels his chances of acquittal or dismissal are better. All while attempting to re-brand the felony charges against him as "freedom of speech and fair elections" issues.

They never rule on guilt or innocence, only on whether or not the trial followed Constitutional principles. If they deem that either the prosecutor or judge messed up on a Constitutional issue, then they overturn the verdict, but that is way different from declaring him innocent--or guilty.

So he's going to need something Constitutional to appeal, and he doesn't have that. Not yet, anyway.

I doubt Smith or Chutkin will give him that option, either.

this is what he is doing now with his social media. Everything he is doing is meant to stop the trial before the election.

Merrick Garland should have appointed Jack Smith on March 2021 and Trump may have been convicted by now.

Looks like the Russians won. The have reached their goal using their tool TFG. The have undermined our fundamental beliefs in Democratic institutions, the Supremes, election integrity, The police, and the lower courts. It has been their plan to use their propagandists to undermine America. TFG was their in. Now it will take decades to undo the damage they have done. Trumps only goal is to gain power and he does not care whether he destroys democracy as a means to his end game. He is predictable. We have to seriously consider the steps we as Americans need to prevent the destruction of this great experiment founded 247 years ago. We need to organize and remain on message and say: we are a country of laws. Rant off

That it didn't take this bloated pusbag to undermine their faith in the cops or legal system. If you're not a well-to-do straight white male who's christian, then you learn quite early in life how the "injustice" system is not your friend.

Republicans aren't about reality. They're about bumper sticker slogans. The Orange Dummy plays that game all too well. Crooked Joe. Deranged Jack. Crooked Hillary. Liddle Mike. This is not a sane man. Maybe the judge could put him in a straitjacket and commit him to an asylum.

Even if he ends up with an ankle monitor under home arrest, he's going to be banned from holding office and from using social media for 40 yrs. That's Trump's version of Hell.
