"Mr Trump" should never be referred to as "President Trump"...

...and they should be corrected every time they say it.

They love to put their own labels on people, for example, the "Democrat Party". They should be corrected on that also, when they say that.

At this time, with so many criminal charges hanging over his head, he does not even merit being called the "former president". He has disqualified himself from that title with his actions.

Some may think it is giving him too much due by calling him "Mr Trump" and that may be true.

One thing for certain, he should never be called "President Trump".

I hope to refer to him by the number issued to him by the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

However, saying “Federal Inmate # 1213. . . .”, may get tedious so I hope to seldom talk about him at all.

It is media practice to say President Trump or Obama or Bush.

The contemporary practice is to address former presidents as President (Surname)in conversation. The current president is the only one identified as The President or addressed as Mr. President.
