I see that Dershbag came out with an accusation that SC Jack Smith can be indicted. Dershbag claims that Smith is trying to deprive Trump of his 1st Amendment right to give his J6 speech.
The problem is that Smith isn't charging Trump for what he said at the Ellipse on J6.
Dershbag is just another scum bag lawyer who is a Trump puppet who repeats his lies.

(69,364 posts)Trump has dirt on a lot of people. We know that Dershowitz was involved with Epstein. There's more, I'm sure.
Meanwhile, mobsters and Putin have dirt on Trump.

(9,535 posts)... an "expert" lawyer that apparently doesn't know how to read an indictment.
He can, of course, he's deliberately lying.

(31,761 posts)Sometimes an asshole is just an asshole. Dershowitz is an asshole. It doesn't, and wouldn't matter if Trump had "dirt" on him. He's already disgraced, and he's already disgraced himself - and he's pissed off about it. He voluntarily purchased a McMansion on crackpot lane and there he shall live till he dies.

(28,836 posts)I'm not sure why Russia or hidden secrets are some people's answer to absolutely everything, but often, it doesn't need to be that complicated.
Just like Trump doesn't need anything hanging over him to be a cruel, ignorant, narcissistic buffoon. Or Lindsay Graham needing someone to follow around like a puppy.

(113,971 posts)I thought that he had become a bit of a publicity hog and a celebrity-seeking fellow who cared less about justice than about fame and fortune, Tribe said in an interview about Dershowitz.
Derschowizt on Tribe (weak tea): He is a zealot and a partisan, Dershowitz said about Tribe.

(60,320 posts)So easy, in fact, that I see it on RW sites all the time. It is one of their automatic go-to excuses when something doesn't go their own way. The other one is that somebody got bought and paid for.
Suggesting "kompromat!" is not evidence of kompromat.
Your OP is speculation and thus your original post does not deliver on the headline.

(32,323 posts)and I can't prove it.
Just my opinion on Dersh and Lyndsey. Sometimes people change their behaviors from running around with bad crowds. Not many criminals live at Martha's Vineyard though, maybe a few white collar.

(28,836 posts)Graham doesn't need anything hanging over him to desperately need someone to follow around like a puppy or to sway whichever way he thinks the wind is blowing. He's done it his entire political career.

(98,883 posts)and the only thing he has left is his attention seeking BS.
From what I have read he has lost most of his friends who do not want to be associated with him anymore.
He has become just another crackpot trump defender lawyer, who I suspect has lost his mind

(3,749 posts)I've suggested this before. Contrarians are a particular subspecies of academic who like the attention they get by opposing the consensus in his field.
Contrarians are different from quacks and cranks because, at some level, contrarians know they're blowing nonsense.
Some denialists (though not all) also know they're supporting an untenable point of view. The difference is that denialists do what they do primarily for financial gain - they get paid to repeat their nonsense. Some contrarians are also paid to appear on TV talking head panels, but the primary motivation is attention.

(38,729 posts)When he hears somethings unflattering about someone he dislikes, he uses it immediately. He has no filter, no cunning in his speech. He just rambles.
By and large, he has NOTHING, because his attacks are mainly just adjectives (crooked, disgusting, etc) and no assertions of wrongdoing.
