Yet another lawyer is appearing for TFG, Filzah Pavalon.

https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/67656604/21/united-states-v-trump/ She's a rookie, works for Lauro in Florida, seems to have graduated from law school in 2021. She's designated as "of counsel," which can mean that she works part-time practitioner, practicing in association with the firm; or that she's a probationary partner-to-be recently joining a firm, or that she has permanent status between that of a partner or associate who has “tenure” but lacks the expectation of promotion to full partner status.

But it is from the University of Chicago, so that’s a plus. (And her JD, which is still wet, is from UVA.)

I was an associate at a major DC law firm and by the time i had been there two years I had gotten a significant amount of experience in trial practice.

I don't expect to see her standing up and arguing in court or questioning witnesses, but she'll assist in drafting motions and various pleadings and her name will appear on them.

I was assisting in writing supreme court briefs, and thus admitted to practice before the supreme court, when I was two years out of law school.
