Thomas- "The job is not worth doing for what they pay,but it is worth doing for the principle.

Gag.

Maybe have that replaced with a robot one you control after brain surgery, now if you wouldn't mind standing over the X, thank you.

Difference is that I have personal and professional ethics that I must adhere to. Justice Thomas has neither. I would like to think my father raised a man of integrity and the professional rules are not what keep me doing the right thing because it is the right thing, but, the guidelines do help.

Especially since on retirement he gets that amount (or more) for the rest of his life.

And I've got the same degrees Thomas has (BA and JD), plus one more (MS).

For a few years I made about 50-70% of that, but most of my working career I've made less than 30% of that, and my retirement income is less than 20% of that.

He actually would have been paid $274,200 in 2022; 285,400 will be his salary in 2023.

That's not a poverty wage as he seems to think.

But, I guess he also bolsters his income with "gifts" from various individuals.

The base pay isn't enough but you can supplement your income by selling your principles.

which means you don't qualify for the job. Of course Uncle Thomas never qualified so he can fuck right off.
