Michael Cohen, Donald Trumps ex-attorney-turned-critic who has characterized his former boss as a conman and racist, is considering a run for Congress, Semafor reports.
Cohen said he would run as a Democrat, potentially mounting a primary challenge against Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY), the partys top member on the House Judiciary Committee.

ETA: though I do admire Michael Cohen for how he has helped to inform the public about "Mr Trump."

That is my district, maybe if he'd run in 2022, when we had two sitting representatives in the same district. In 22 NY collapsed two Manhattan districts onto each other to give up the seat that our state delegation lost after the census. Then he might have had a chance of being a spoiler, with 2 Congress members and a rich heir running as a spoiler. In a four or more primary maybe he'd have moved a percent or two max. But now that Nadler is the incumbent zero chance, this is just a money grab on Mr Cohen's part.

(2,218 posts)If he was running against a seat held by a Repuke, MAYBE. MAYBE.
But against Nadler? GF yourself.
