NY-12: Michael Cohen Considers Run for Congress

Michael Cohen, Donald Trump’s ex-attorney-turned-critic who has characterized his former boss as a “conman” and “racist,” is considering a run for Congress, Semafor reports.

Cohen said he would run as a Democrat, potentially mounting a primary challenge against Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY), the party’s top member on the House Judiciary Committee.

That is my district, maybe if he'd run in 2022, when we had two sitting representatives in the same district. In 22 NY collapsed two Manhattan districts onto each other to give up the seat that our state delegation lost after the census. Then he might have had a chance of being a spoiler, with 2 Congress members and a rich heir running as a spoiler. In a four or more primary maybe he'd have moved a percent or two max. But now that Nadler is the incumbent zero chance, this is just a money grab on Mr Cohen's part.

If he was running against a seat held by a Repuke, MAYBE. MAYBE.

But against Nadler? GF yourself.

Cable news keeps making people think they're qualified for things.

Terrible business.
