Pitts area yardsigns....

My wife's family lives in the Pittsburgh area so we drive back there a couple of time a year pretty much since forever.

Ever since 2016, there have been reliable areas of tfg yard signs. Not just signs, but billboards in many cases, or barn sides, some anti biden or anti hillary in days gone by. And it was common to see the large dually pickups with oversized American and tfg campaign flags flying.

This trip we didn't see a single one. Just a couple of lame bumper stickers that looked old and faded.

Not saying he doesn't have support, just that shame may be creeping over people, or at least a lack of that bloodlust in your face support. Of course it's still early, and he has no primary oppo, but those were year round signs.

This is Maga country. He will still be tough to beat in the privacy of an election booth, but it's possible something is happening.

Or not. Probably not. But it was a more enjoyable drive nonetheless.

Glad to hear when any area shows a lessening of support for tfg!

...to the minds of the voters.

We have ABSOLUTELY GOT TO keep the Slobfather out of ANY position of authority in the U.S. government.

He’s still a threat. A mortal threat.

was far more enjoyable this year.. only counted 3 signs for the slobfather... last year about a dozen. In 2021 we lost count. Yep they're still out there, but not publicly pronouncing it is a step in the right direction.

funny thing, last year driving though Kansas we saw literally a thousand signs to vote "yes" to protect women and children. I had to google it. That was the amendment that failed.. because it protected nothing!

But encouraging anecdata. When I read folks fretting about "What if Trump wins back the presidency in 2024?" I think about stories like this. Also, who's been watching the political scene, no matter how casually, for the past eight years or so and thinks, "You know, maybe I rushed to judgment on that Trump fellow. The way he's been whining and crying about being held responsible for his criminal activities has caused me to re-think this whole situation and I'll vote for Trump in 2024." In the realm of all possible voters, I'd say that number is negligible.

I suspect it will pick up as we get closer to the trial in January, and it will be loud and vicious.

i live in a mostly red district in ca, used to see those huge dont tread on me flags , and people hanging flags on the back of pickup trucks with total dissregard for the flag act. lots of turmp sings, but that is almost all gone now.we had huge swaths of blue during the obama and biden wins according to political maps .

knowing they slithered out from under rocks not too very long ago. If they are gone, they are simply leaning to cover under or hidden in the shadow of those same rocks again.

TFG flags and signs are nowhere as visible these days. I know for a fact that Covid took two of the biggest admirers. That could account for some of the decline. One of the two had the “My Governor is an Idiot” placards on display, irony in action.
