DeSantis' "Thigh Restaurant" Test

A source relates that during college at Yale, Ron Desantis would invite potential dates to join him for a meal at a "thigh restaurant" near campus.

If they corrected him -- 'Thai restaurant' -- then he would not date them because 'he did not want to be with a woman who felt comfortable correcting him.

I'm going to guess that his favorite sport is Thai Kick Boxing...you know, that sport where they kick each other in the thigh.

I could not remember the details, and I thought his evaluation of the test results was somewhat different. Since I read that story here on DU, I think of it occasionally whenever a fresh news story reveals his continued dysfunction.

I'm guessing that his first date caught him on the mispronunciation and it embarrassed him. So he turned it around like it was always his idea.

The year 1956 was when I was born. The last time I saw a 1956 Continental was six years ago at a car cruise. Its color was white. An elderly couple owned it. I spoke with them briefly and snapped a few photos of it as they drove off. I will send you a link to the photos when I locate them.
