(24,207 posts)Here in Michigan they attempted to break into machines too. They tried to steal the election!
And who know what other states they may have done this in and didnt get caught. Maybe Biden win Texas and Florida, but they broke into machines there and changed votes. Did they try the same things in 2016?
This was their attempt to find Trump 12,000 votes and it is a grave threat to our democracy. They tried to steal it and need to pay.

(1,370 posts)That's what I was thinking. It's not far fetched to wonder if this happened during the 2016 election.

Michigan may very well be next in line. Damn skippy!! Get 'em y'all!!

(23,694 posts)The margins were far too wide; the amount of effort it would have taken to mess with enough votes to flip the state is enormous.
It would have been really hard to change enough votes to deny Biden a win.
Not to mention the down ballot races were disastrous for the Democrats, so if vote tampering was going on, some of those races might have turned out differently
Flipping Biden votes to Trump votes would be much easier in say North Carolina which was a close election.

(10,252 posts)A whole lot of people are about to have their lives ruined as a result of their own dishonesty. Jobs and careers will be lost, buckets of money spent on legal defense, law licenses revoked, families shamed, prison terms, loss of future voting privileges. And all for what? For Donald Trump? Because they hate Dems? I feel really sorry for them, because somewhere in their upbringing, honesty, integrity, and personal honor just didn't get taught and/or learned.
The only possible positive outcome for them will be to learn quite painfully that crime doesn't pay. But how many of them will learn that lesson?

(10,252 posts)without exception. Yes even for corrupt degenerate people. Especially for them, because they are ignorant about how much suffering they cause themselves and others. Compassion is not a get out of jail free card, or a we'll pretend your indiscretions never happened. The law of karma catches up to them eventually, and they will get to experience the consequences of their actions. I don't have to lift a finger to make that happen. Karma will automatically lower the boom on them -- probably next week!
Hatred is poison. Hating them and wishing them ill-will would make me just like them, because that's how they view Dems. The best that I can wish for them is that they learn from their mistakes.
YDogg
(6,683 posts)If anything, I feel bad for their kids, families, etc. who will suffer for their tomfoolery. But they chose to act as they did, and I am not bothered that they will likely experience consequences.

(10,252 posts)Karma is like gravity. It never stops working. If we don't keep our feet on the ground, we will fall. I don't have to do anything. But if someone were to do anything, it would be best after their convictions and sentencing, to try and remind them that they, and they alone, are the cause of their own fate, and to turn it into a learning experience.
In my Buddhist tradition, there was a guy, Milerepa, who was a criminal and murderer, yet he went on under the guidance of an authentic teacher to become enlightened in 1 lifetime. So I never discount the possibility, no matter how remote, that each and everyone of us can learn from our mistakes and go on to be better people. Of course the chances of that happening are pretty slim for that crowd, but a few might learn something.

(2,611 posts)Karma has to be written into the statutes and the penalties attached to violating those laws.
I will be rooting for that kind of Karma.

(1,885 posts)Does that need to be part of the equation? Although all that happens is meant to be. The amount of suffering they cause is extreme. I respect your opinion very much ...

(3,109 posts)They think they are cleverly inoculating themselves if they accuse us of what they are actually doing. To a certain extent, I think it works for them. It confuses people and makes them think both sides do it.

(262 posts)yet pulled off the most comprehensive election theft in American history or world history and left no trace of evidence because, remember, 60 cases, 60 court cases were filed and no credible evidence was ever presented 85% of those cases were with Republican judges. Fox News paid $800 million rather than reveal they had no evidence to present just hours before the trial started.

(2,587 posts)People dont seem to remember. Two counties in Florida did get hacked but the governor there and fbi decide the public did need to know which two counties it was.
They had 100,s, 1000,s of opportunities to change votes and hack machines. Take a look at a map the shows all the counties in this country and that was their playing field.

(22,325 posts)Do you or anyone else remember that one of Ivanka's patents was for a VOTING MACHINE? Now what does that tell you? The Trumps were dead set on controlling the vote that early on? That's not a mistake - that was on Ivanka's list of patents - a VOTING MACHINE - one MADE IN CHINA. A patent whose manufacture was going to be produced in China and controlled by the Trump Dynasty.

(2,611 posts)SHANGHAI (AP) The Chinese government granted 18 trademarks to companies linked to President Donald Trump and his daughter Ivanka Trump over the last two months, Chinese public records show, raising concerns about conflicts of interest in the White House.
In October, Chinas Trademark Office granted provisional approval for 16 trademarks to Ivanka Trump Marks LLC, bringing to 34 the total number of marks China has greenlighted this year, according to the offices online database. The new approvals cover Ivanka-branded fashion gear including sunglasses, handbags, shoes and jewelry, as well as beauty services and voting machines.
The approvals came three months after Ivanka Trump announced she was dissolving her namesake brand to focus on government work.

(41,631 posts)That group included members of Sullivan Strickler, a firm hired by Trumps attorneys to examine voting systems in the small, heavily Republican Georgia county, according to text messages obtained by CNN.
That same day, Friess sent a Letter of invitation to Coffee County, Georgia to former NYPD Police Commissioner Bernie Kerik, who was working with Giuliani to find evidence that would back up their baseless claims of potential widespread voter fraud, according to court documents filed as part of an ongoing civil case.
Friess then notified operatives who carried out the Coffee County breach and others working directly with Giuliani that Trumps team had secured written permission, the texts show.
Is Katherine Friess indicted yet? Has she told anyone where that "letter" originated?
Lock her up. Lock all of them up!

Chain of custody on the laptop is toast - before it went in for repair.
It might be that they hack his data, make it look worse. Then drag him into Congressional hearings to answer for the data they hacked (in part).
There are other copies of this disk and they may be able to figure some of this out better with them.
If the Special Prosecutor figures that out, they're in deep sh*t
I know it is a little off topic but this hacking business ...
