Mrs. Ed and I waited more than an hour after 60 Minutes was scheduled to broadcast, but all we got was golf. Even long after the tournament concluded, all we got was boring announcers droning on and on about golf.

Here's a golfer riding back to the clubhouse in a golf cart. Here's a golfer sitting at a table, drinking from a cup. Exciting stuff, I tell ya. We eventually gave up and went to bed.

For more than fifty years, 60 Minutes has been a ratings champ for CBS. I can't understand why the network would make it take a back seat not only to a golf tournament, but even to endless, lifeless post-tournament golf commentary.

5. Noty sure what time zone you are in but

My show was only 45 minutes late. Can't really set it up to record as it records whatever is on at 7pm. but there are ways to watch it on demand and so on.
I do agree with both of you. 60 minutes should not be delayed for a golf tournament and I like watching golf.

other activities.

How can "60 Min" be the top program when it never starts on time? Football, basketball, basketball, golf and any other sport activities- so far.

7. 60 minutes airs at 6pm here; i was in the car and turned on the radio

and listened to this entire segment about ebay stalking and terrorizing this couple. it was quite a story! i tried to find an article online but googling ebay and anything else i was not shown a "news" option.

so wbbm-am radio was airing the show (i think they always do)
