Go ahead, you stupid dumbfuck, defy the Georgia indictment and refuse to turn yourself in. I'll bet a fat man (that would be you, shitbag) to a skinny mule that Georgia LEOs are already pre-positioned for a raid to drag your sorry ass to that midnight train to GA.

(8,818 posts)They have had almost three years to present this evidence so why now. I believe it will consist of all the prior conspiracy stuff that was debunked years ago. Hope he defames some more people in this roll out and they sue the orange foolious for defamation. He is not President so he cannot hide under that protection now.

(5,648 posts)1. There won't be any press conference.
2. There will be a press conference -- in which he spouts his usual rants and grievances and will assert that he *does* have evidence, documentation, proof..or whatever.. but won't present any of it.

(2,075 posts)Florida does, indeed, extradite on felony warrants.
Can You Be Extradited Out Of Florida?
Yes, Florida extradites fugitives to and from other states on a felony warrant. Most of the time, this procedure takes about 30 days, but the court can grant an additional 60-day extension during an extradition hearing.
Florida follows the Uniform Criminal Extradition Act (UCEA) and is not a non-extradition state. All the states in the United States will extradite a fugitive from one state to another under the right circumstances. Not all states have adopted the Uniform Criminal Extradition Act; states that have not adopted it have their own extradition laws that comply with the federal law. Only South Carolina and Missouri have not formally adopted the UCEA.
When a person is arrested on an out-of-state warrant, the person has three options from which to choose:
*Consent to Extradition
*Request an Extradition Bond
*Request an Extradition Hearing
DeSantis is pretty much bound by the terms of the UCEA, though I suppose he could try to interfere in the process. I think if it came to that, though, he could/would hide behind the language of the UCEA as a handy way to get rid of his main opponent in the election.

(8,215 posts)would he? Trump is opponent.
Chainfire
(17,757 posts)state. Trump's lawyers will not let him attempt to dodge a Georgia Warrant. DeSantis sees Trump as an opponent for the nomination for the Republican's run for the presidency. Do you really think that that scumbag would do anything to help Trump?

(4,741 posts)People really underestimate how much this bawsac's narcissism rules him.
He will be there, because he will tell everyone he will be. Oh, he'll think about not showing up, just to show everyone what for, but then he won't be able to resist the cameras that will have gathered there, all for him. Cameras = attention = lifeblood for a narcissist. He lives for the attention. It's a drug for him.
He might be late showing up, because that's a common narcissist power play--Show up on time? That's for the little people. I'll keep *you* waiting, because I can.
So don't panic if he's an hour or more late. It's a game for him, but he'll be there. He won't be able to resist being the center of worldwide attention, yet again.

(1,976 posts)Committing another crime will violate his pretrial release from the DC criminal case. So he might be dragged to a federal cell first. They could then send him to GA for his little initial appearance there.
Not sure if Florida staties would stop his federal apprehension, or if he might also be violating his Florida federal criminal case release terms with Loose Cannon, but that is an easier get, and once he is in the federal custody system, I am not sure how the interstate thing works.
