About that secret trump pocket pardon....

I've been told here it doesn't exist or even pertain to state brought charges. But I believe Monday at 11 am is when he tells the nation that he pardoned himself, maybe show a document signed by his entire cabinet.

Of course it'll go nowhere, but this cornered rat knows he will need to pull out his only nuclear weapon in his arsenal. Only he and his cult will think its legit.

Only my opinion, but if he has it, this would be the time he would declare it.

Explain how Trump would prove that he issued the Pardon when he was President.

Explain why he wouldn't have used it after the first three indictments.

he'll declare it thinking it's some sort of super powerful weapon that'll make him completely immune. Trump will believe it, the fucker believes anything crazy like this.

My post was only to speculate on his insane moves, nothing else.

I know it won't be legit. you know it won't be legit, but donny and his cult will think its the best thing ever.

They have zero reach at the state level.

Even so, if he tried it in the DC case, it would be challenged and he would probably lose.

But that is an argument for constitutional scholars, which I aint.

To get a pardon under Georgia law, TFG has to (1) complete their sentence; (2) have no pending charges; and (3) wait five years.

https://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/maddowblog/georgia-case-trump-cant-count-pardon-gops-kemp-rcna99962

But if convicted of state crimes in Georgia, Trump, even if he were in the White House, couldn’t simply make the charges disappear — because he’d have no legal authority to do so.

Could Brian Kemp, Georgia’s Republican governor who’s been the target of Trump’s ire in recent years, come to the former president’s rescue? No, that’s not an option, either. As Jordan’s report went on to explain, “under the state constitution, there’s a board of pardons and paroles, with five members appointed by the governor and confirmed by the state Senate to staggered, seven-year terms.”

OK, so maybe the state’s pardon board could rescue Trump in the wake a possible criminal conviction? Unfortunately for the former president, it’s not nearly that simple: To be considered for a pardon in Georgia, someone must, among other things, (1) complete their sentence; (2) have no pending charges; and (3) wait five years.

Or put another way, if Trump is found guilty in Georgia, he won’t be able to simply turn to partisan allies for some kind of rescue. Such a solution doesn’t exist under state law.

There are proposals to change Georgia law just for TFG. We will see what happens

Otherwise, the so-called pocket pardon has no legal force or effect.

... he lost the election?

Let alone his pardon won't help him in Georgia. His jury would have to think he's guilty as shit.
