Dear Republicans, May I have your attention please.

If you had done your job when Trump was first impeached, your party wouldn't be in this mess right now.

If you had not gone along with Trump when he claimed election fraud, your party wouldn't be in this mess right now.

If you had just admitted that Trump lost the 2020 election, your party wouldn't be in this mess right now.

If you did not encourage the 1/6 riots by coddling Trump's fanciful notions of stopping the electoral count, your party wouldn't be in this mess right now.

If you had done your job when Trump was impeached for a second time, your party wouldn't be in this mess right now.

If you had denounced Trump for hoarding classified documents in his home after his presidency, your party wouldn't be in this mess right now.

So, stop blaming the DOJ, the FBI, the Democrats, the media, all African American women, etc. for the problem that you created and refused to deal with. You have multiple chances to humble Trump and yet, you refused at every turn.

The GOP double-down again is just so enjoyable at the moment. I'm thoroughly enjoying the humiliation they're going through while trying to appear strong for anyone in their base watching.

They are too busy fantasizing about the atrocities they think hidden on Hunter Biden's alleged laptop.

They still think they can worm their way back into the Oval Office, that Trump's their best vehicle to do so - and that they're above the law.

Especially if Trump gets back in.

If ever.

And the economy? Another Bush-style crisis or worse.

I have no doubt that if El Cheeto had managed to get a 2nd term, that Silicon Valley/First Republic crisis earlier this year would've turned into an all-out financial meltdown.

And that (of course) Trump and Jar-Jar would've found a way to profit from it all. And bigly.

If TFG had been removed, as he should have been, after the compelling first impeachment, there would have been no attack on the Capitol on January 6th, no injuries and deaths, and we would not still be subject to the constant threats we're still dealing with years later.

It's not just the Republican party that created this monster. It is the filthy-rich bribing Clarance, training Roman and flattering another Nazi to go into politics. It's capitalism in action. When the Filthy-rich get free capital from their dead relatives, they want to control the world and to do that, they have to destroy democracy.

The Filthy-rich have an uncontrollable urge to destroy the very swamp that created them. They don't really want free trade or free people. They want to control it all. And capitalism, and it's friend religion, are the tools they use to do just that.

We know the playbook. Our job as Dems is to nail these repukes on what they "say." Call them out, slam them again and again with their own words and point out where that got us. Yes, we won't get the hard core to vote for us but we know that ahead of time. Concentrate on OUR message and tearing down THEIR LIES!

Republicans are a white nationalist umbrella group. That is why they detest the feds, the media, and the usual targets of white nationalist hostility. There was a time when Republicans outwardly rejected white nationalist extremist groups. Now those groups serve as their protection detail.

It's just an amalgamation of big money donors, Trump cultists, the socially awkward/backwards thinking people, and flat out grifters. There's no real party apparatus to hold Trump accountable nor discipline anyone.

Strange people can become state party leaders, see Michigan. It's a free for all.
