Joe Scar is doing for Christie what he did for trump.

The political calculation to defeat trump is raising Christie's status. He is dangerously wrong about the indictments and has a demagoguery that will attract many of the MAGATS once trump falters. He scares me.

10. I agree he is the best foil. But the never trumpers need a candidate.

I sense he will do very well in New Hampshire as more and more news comes out. People talk to each other there and listen to their peers.
The republicans are not going to support a woman and I don't think Scott is more than window dressing.
Trumpers will stay with their man, but if he is not the nominee they still have their hatred of libs. Many will come out for the R. On top of that, Biden's age will be front page and his VP will be excoriated vehemently.
They need to keep their world view in place.
I am nervous that Democratic complacency sneaks into electoral college voting.
Just my nerves.

Without evidence, I fear he’ll be the GOP nominee. He’ll be the anti-Trump candidate that Republicans can rally behind.

Is Christie electable in the General? Who knows? But he’ll be a formidable opponent to President Biden and Republicans will reliably fall in line.

Trumpers will never vote for Christie. They will sit it out or convince Trump to run 3rd party.
