... “Well, I can’t really comment on the indictment, if you remember kind of through the process. You know, during the whole 2020 election, there was a lot of things said, a lot of things done. In the end of the day I followed the law and the Constitution,” Kemp replied ...

“I was subpoenaed for the special grand jury. So, you know, I’m sure I will be a witness in whatever goes forward,” Kemp noted ...

"We don’t need to be focusing on stupid things that aren’t going to happen ..."

is trying to normalize him now. He's one of the most corrupt politicians in this country. Ironically, his cheating and unethical conduct paved the way for us to win in 2020 because we finally got electronic machines that had a paper ballot and receipt. People may not recall but Georgia was sort of a purple/blue state prior to the paperless e-voting machines that came after 2000.

But his honesty in this matter & the honesty of some others did help save Our Democracy.

That would be my argument for posting it here.

We can agree to disagree, and I would also argue, that's one of the many things that sets us apart from them.

But in the case of the State of Georgia v. Donald J Trump, et al., he is a representative, not of a political party, but of an ideology that embraces the Constitution, embodying justice for all regardless of party affiliation. That one common point of intersection is all that matters to me at this point. The same could be said of Adam Kinzinger and Liz Cheney. They are truly the enemies of our enemy if you define our enemy at the moment as Donald Trump and his MAGA Pimps.
