A few things things I haven't yet checked out, however I see the goodies right away. and that's saying a lot with my vision issues.
I love the new layout, so much more intuitive I feel, as well as aesthetically easy on the eye.
And oh before I forget, thanks EarlG for all the blood sweat and tears working tirelessly on this project.
Much appreciated and grateful.
One more thing:
I really, really Love the twitter logo thingy on subject titles, sticking with the bird cuz : "Fuck Elon Musk".
Big Congrats and Much Gratitude.

(8,179 posts)in the process of using it, not just learning it's new features and various functionalities, it's the best time to "squish" the bugs as EarlG so eloquently put it.
. (I love that) . to me, it's pretty cool, so far. But i'm not always on line, so it may take me a while for me to spot the bugs if there are any.

It's great, I am sure you will love it. Oh and we now have "dark mode", so much easier on the eyes.

(97,856 posts)Go to MY STUFF at the top of the page, it opens to a menu. Go to My settings. It is called night mode. I keep it on 24/7. Love it.

(37,023 posts)i haven't clicked on the link yet -- i'm afraid my computer will magically change everything and i won't be able to find kansas anymore
(or get back here to the du3 i've been living on for years)

(8,179 posts)It's ok to click on the announcement button. You will be able o read all the deets, regarding DU3 and DU4. You'll read and see your options.
I'm taking the dive when the time comes, because I really really love the new features and functionalities. Dark Mode is something I had long waited fas an example. simply selecting or deselecting if I change my mind. other features I dig as well.
I say, come on in the water is fine. easy to step in or out... and back in again. you won't lose DU3 or any of your work.

Sorry, I can't answer that for you.

(38,713 posts)If that is what you are asking, it should be just a straight feed through (what you would see on an attached laptop screen should be what you see if you are displaying it on a stand-alone screen).
