These people supporting Trump against all evidence and examples of his criminality, incompetence and maleficence are astounding to me.

Some are obvious shills (Fox News et. al.) doing it for $$$.
Some are agitators intentionally trying to get a rise out of people...

But there are those who simply refuse to use their eyes to see, their ears to hear or their minds to comprehend...those people are frightening beyond words.

I understand she went with something kind of neutral and PC but she could have cut loose and it would have been very refreshing to hear it.

The difference is apparently too nuanced for those blockheads to parse, but what she really said was that people who were racist and sexist and homophobic belonged in a basket of deplorables.

Newsflash: if you aren't any of those things, she didn't mean you.

It is from the French word for weeping. It suggests that you value them enough to worry about them. Hillary Clinton was right about this, as she was about so many other things.
