How long before Putin's demise?

Can't come soon enough for me. Glad the US and other allies are shoveling all the military tech and hardware to the Ukrainians they can.

First hand knowledge, trust me.

Putin's well guarded. The unimaginative thugs who made up Wagner are unlikely to get organized and then to outthink Putin's security teams. Revenge is a fun plot point in fiction, but in real life thugs tend to scatter when their bosses blow up.

Putin wouldn't be in power without Medvedev appointing him. The sooner both of these assholes are wiped from our collective existence the better.

I'm not a violent person, I just want one well placed missile to take out Putin, his minions, and his troll army. Just one.

Putin won't pull out of Ukraine or cut a deal to end the fighting. If he gets taken out, the one certain thing is that whoever replaces him will find he can't end the fighting. Admitting Ukraine was a mistake is a sign of weakness. The one thing a coupmaker can't afford to do in Russia is give any indication of weakness, not even for a ceasefire. It'd demoralize the country and lead to even greater dissatisfaction among the wingnuts most likely to seize power next.

It's perverse, but Putin in office is Ukraine's best chance to have peace by 2025.
