The tendency for the guilty to succeed in deflecting the courts with gamesmanship is not working when the state has a vested interest in seeing the guilty brought before the people's justice. It is assuring that this is apparently the case at this point. The system needs to be well practiced on prosecuting the powerful before they use us as entrees on their menu. I hear the desperately poor and hopelessly indebted puréed into a "Rio-Grande" wash of salted immigrant blood on a Ritz cracker is the protein staple of any high-level GOP fund raiser.

Okay, I admit that may be a bit too....."visual" for the time being. But there's always tomorrow's surprise, just around the corner.
