12. I look at the recent arrest page of my county jail daily.

My understanding is they put down whatever the arrestee says. (within reason. I imagine) Many of them misspell the name of their birthplace, even where they live now. Same way with your occupation. You may work at a restaurant, but if you say auto mechanic, that's what your booking sheet says. These things may get corrected later, but as a matter of expedience they can't investigate everything you say on the spot at the time of your arrest.

he weighs wouldn't have taken a heck of a lot of time. It's an extremely minor point right now, I realize... but it just goes to show the continuing deference to a major criminal. No wonder he thinks he's going to skate out on these charges and sit in the oval office again. He gets no treatment that tells him he's just a private citizen at the moment. I'm not a police officer, but I sat on a civil grand jury in my county for two years. One of the tasks we were legally bound to do is to investigate every detention facility in our county. Such investigations can include a tour of the facility, interviews with any staff and administration and may be included in the report we were required to write and publish.
