I have been arrested almost as many times as tfg....never once did they weigh me

So they would implicitely get the height. I dont know if they still do this in some jurisdictions.

2. It might vary but my understanding is that they do so as part of the medical intake if they are

held pending trial or after conviction/imprisonment and not released ROR. At this juncture, I was not surprised that they just took a self-claim of weight and height.

Even then it would likely be a cursory health intake--until such time they are sentenced to prison facility post coviction.
