We should all use Trump's mugshot pose, the "Kubrick Stare," next week...

as our Facebook, etc. picture. Make fun of it. If everyone does it, he will hate it. There should be a Dark Brandon one too. Put it everywhere so that he can't feel special. You know that this mug shot is his favorite picture of himself.

I see exactly what you mean. As I said in another reply, I'm too creeped out by that mugshot to feel like making fun of it, but I definitely see what you mean.

Would have been helpful to include these in the op.

I don't feel much like making fun of that pic, because it honestly creeps me out! Whatever tough guy persona he may have been trying to project, all I can see is his towering, murderous rage at being in such a humiliating position. (Never mind that he put himself there by his own criminal actions.)

It is kind of funny how much it resemble those pics from Kubrick's films, but it still creeps me out!

yes, it's the look of psychopthis narcisist suffering a major narcisistic wound. one who knows that the two most likely paths his life will take are to go to prison or end American democracy by becoming a dictator.

The Kubrick Stare is really quite simple to pull off. You simply do the following:

Tilt head down
Look up beneath eyebrows
...and voila! Instant super-creepy look!

It generally signifies that the character in question is either really, really pissed or really, really deranged, and the person they're looking at is really, really screwed. Other times — usually when combined with a smile — it means they're feeling really, really clever (regardless of whether or not they actually are). It's arguably the most easily executed type of Death Glare.

When a show or film utilizes the look, it's often a homage to Stanley Kubrick. Either way, it's really creepy and ominous. Although depending on the context, it can also be very badass.

I'll update the post to clarify.

Thanks to all of you who asked for clarity.

Because I think tfg is trying to recreate his Apprentice persona in the mugshot. I really believe the head-down scowl and the thousand yard stare are the invention of stylists and marketers specifically for the TV show, designed to make him look fearless and in charge.
