Many of those that attacked our Capitol on January 6th thought it was a blast.

It was fun!

They waved their huge flags, took photos with their phones, and bragged to their friends about what they had done.

They did not think they did anything wrong. They still do not think so to this day.

They were just going along with the crowd. They were following their leader. They never imagined that they would ever be charged with a crime.

But many went to jail and they still believe they are victims. They had a right to be in the Capitol.

But, it got out of hand and they were caught up in the violence.

All they wanted was for Trump to stay in the White House for four more years.

Was that so wrong?

They loved that he was cheering them on.

"And if you don't fight for your country, you won't have a country to fight for". he told them.

They were leaning on his every word.

2. I was really struck by how the 1/6 mob casually strolled back to their cars that day.

Like they had just been to a theme park, and were tired after having so much fun.

I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
They should have been arrested on the spot.

So they just walked away.

But with love from their Commander in Chief.

A mob takes over the US Congress and MOC are running for their lives and hiding.
A handful of police officers are on their own to deal with the mob.

In Washington DC, the nation's capitol, there are no other police coming to help.

In most counties in every state in the US, if a police department is overwhelmed, they
have get back up help right away from other cities and counties.

But apparently not in the nation's seat of power.
Everybody claims that there was no provision for this kind of thing.
The police guarding the US Congress have no back up plan.
Sure.

The whole thing was surreal from start to finish.

"It's a revolution" she says. Poor baby got maced.

Her revolution includes smearing poop in the Capital, attacking cops, and killing their own kind.

It was going to be so easy.

She thought this was an innocent prank. She was lucky to leave with irritated eyes.

11. How come they haven't tried it again? They still

feel the same about the election results, why not try it again? Put together a plan of action, gather your flags and fighting gear, arm up, and try to take over the government by force. I mean, what’s stopping them? Something is stopping them. In fact, they now know where they made their mistakes, so why not regroup and make another go of it? They won’t even come out to support their dictator/cult leader during his arrests….even his own “family” doesn’t show up. Perhaps they figured out that the only real chance they had to succeed was gone. All the tough guys/gals, former military, retired police and Ashli Babbitt types, know that their opportunity has passed. They no longer have the, wink wink, support of those who used to be in power. They knew better, even back then, to try anything At President Biden’s inauguration. And their fearless leader abandoned them because they failed. They failed in their mission to keep him in power. That’s why there was no blanket pardon. That was their punishment for not being successful. I believe that Trump watched that day hoping to hear of Nancy Pelosi and Mike Pence’s capture and death. He waited as long as he could, but then realized there was no way this would succeed. These people weren’t caught up in violence, they were the violence. Where does all of this go? I’m not sure, especially since the republicans, under trumps control, no longer support democracy.
