Isn't wrong. Shambles is a singular noun, meaning "a state of disorder."

Species would be the best example of a similar word that is both singular and plural, despite the '-es' at the end.

In case you haven't noticed, this is all a performance. And it isn't just Trump. The entire clown show is deliberate. They don't intend to be taken seriously. Quite the opposite, they intend to be seen as full on clowns and have you go along with the charade, out of fear, as part of the spectacle - intentionally playing along, or for perceived gain of status wealth and power.

He is playing this right out of the fascist playbook from 100 years ago, updated to use the latest mass media interfaces as the means of persuasion.

I used to think they were clowns. I mean they are, obviously, but it is a mistake to not also consider that this is a deliberate intentional performance. Vile fascist performative clowns. Almost all of them are fully aware that they are playing a role in a spectacle.

Mussolini and Hitler were also dismissed as clowns buffoons and thugs. That did not work out well.

Edit: I thought of a fine example. Just recently Trump put out a really vile tweet or truth or whatever calling the georgia DA and her team 'riggers', and everyone immediately understood that this was a racist stunt. It was also completely deniable. He is not an idiot.

Trumpbonics:
(Trum-f-baniks)
Noun
A variation of the English language. Spoken at a level of speech most commonly found in fourth graders. Consists of misspellings, incomplete sentence structure or none at all, poor grammar and nonsensical statements. May include statements that are false or misleading. Commonly used by Magat cult leaders and their followers.

First rule: REPEAT the message! Over and over and over!
Second rule: Keep it simple. Easier for an over-inflated, self-flattering old orange baboon to handle. That’s all he can remember especially when talking off-the-cuff.

Ever notice those sentence fragments? “It’s very unfair what they’ve done. Very unfair what they’ve done.” Used to underscore the basic message.

Roomer are strong in political circles that Ron DeSanctimonious, whose Presidential run is a shambles, and whose poll numbers have absolutely crashed, putting him 3rd and 4th in some states, will be dropping out of the Presidential race in order to run, in Florida, against Rick Scott for Senate. Now that's an interesting one, isn't it?
