“Oh my God, it’s really you!” shouted a student at Eliot-Hine Middle School in Northeast Washington, where President Joe Biden stopped by Monday to mark the new school year. There was so much squealing and excitement that one staffer marveled, “This is like the Beatles.”

Biden, accompanied by first lady Jill Biden, first visited the lunchroom — where a big banner touted the school’s valued traits of “excellence, responsibility, integrity and communications.” Then they dropped by an eighth-grade math class at the 300-student campus.

In the classroom, decorated with colorful posters that displayed math symbols and the order of operations, one student proclaimed loudly, “Joe Biden!” The president hugged one excited child and talked about whether she could someday become president.

“The hardest thing is to come back after three months of not doing any work, not doing any homework,” Biden told the class. A teacher in the classroom explained they were spending the day reviewing concepts from last school year to see what everyone remembered.

I just love both of them because they represent what's good in America. The media gives more attention to the crap that that other "guy" does and says and not enough about these two wonderful people. I try to catch David Muir on at 6:30 PM and never do I see these types of stories about our President and First Lady. All we get are stories about the criminality of tfg and his cohorts.
I want more stories about what these two and our wonderful VP are doing every day. I am so sick of hearing about the GOP I want to crawl in a hole until they all go away.

young voters. His campaign people can produce great ads with this theme and all the touching photography of Jill and Joe with the children.
