'We're coming for you': Parental rights inflames the NJ fall races

As a protest and press conference began to break up outside the Monmouth County Courthouse last month, Darin Accettulli uncorked a raw rally cry of anger designed to inspire his “parental rights” supporters and silence their critics.

“Leave our [expletive] kids alone," the Old Bridge real estate agent and self-described social influencer barked to a crowd that had come to condemn a state policy that generally prevents school officials from notifying parents of a child considering transitioning genders or changing their gender pronouns without the child's consent.

To many in the crowd of culture warriors, parents and evangelicals, the policy is a dangerous big-government “edict” robbing parents of a fundamental role in caring for their children. This was just another slippery step toward Liberal State “indoctrination” of LGBTQ+ values, they argued.

“Enough is enough," said Accettulli, who bore a “We The People” tattoo on his forearm. “We’ve been out here for three years — the masks, the vaccines, everything. Enough is enough."

He ended his outburst with a threat.

“Wrap it up, because we’re coming for you," he said, with a cluster of Republican officials looking on. “That’s why we're here. We’re coming for you. You all know what I’m talking about.”

I substitute teach in northern NJ public schools. Pre-school to 8th.

No indoctrination. We're lucky if the older kids return to class from the bathroom.

Most "educating" is done via Chromebooks. Even the Health classes are pretty sterile.

Are suing the School Board AKA the Tax Payers in my town in NJ.

One of them is a janitor and the other is a member of the school board.

They are claiming that *Transgender* is a religion. It is ten kinds of f*cked up.

What is indoctrination?

Where is you indoctrinated child?

What happened to then?

When? Where?

What harm was done?

Says who?

How many others?

What do psychologists say?

Why aren’t you answering me?

Where is the course material of these indoctrinated kids?

What will happen if your proposals are implemented?

Where are your numbers on what happens to kids if their ability to open up to a teacher rather than a parent is removed?

Do they grow up better off? Worse off?

What about suicide rates?

What about domestic violence?

Do you have anything to back up your argument other than keywords and catchphrases from internet memes?

"Is that a threat to my life?" I would not back down from asking that asshat this very question until I got a 'yes or no' answer. Because if that hick says 'Yes'... well, one of us won't make it to the door. Self Defense, baby.

It’s a strategy.

The machine that orchestrates the strategy doesn’t give a s**t about the topoc of transgenderism one way or another.

We need a bright light to expose it as a machine-produced strategy and a better narrative to make people immune to this stupidity.
