By subscribing to them on their profile. And get alerts when they post. But does that member know you are following them?
I am gonna follow some peeps. Dont think I am stalking. I just like to read certain posters. But love you all!

(23,631 posts)"Subscribe to people" is something that was listed on the DU3 Subscriptions page as "coming soon" for about ten years I think
I'm glad we were finally able to get it working.
Just to be clear, it only notifies you when the member you're subscribed to starts a new thread, not when they post a reply.

(3,396 posts)also the formatting is off badly sometimes. The thread text areas are 1/8th of the width of the screen making them unreadable.
Needs some serious css work.
Here is what it looks like for me on iphone 13 pro plus using chrome:

(3,396 posts)I moght add that have people post the device, OS, and browser when posting bug reports. That may help with the debugging.

(23,631 posts)Are you running an adblocker/content blocker?
If so, thats not an invalid choice DU4 is not deliberately designed to be unusable for people running ad blockers (in fact its designed to respect that choice and hide ad placements gracefully).
That said, if you are running any kind of content blocking extension, that may introduce unpredictable issues. First try tapping the AA symbol in your address bar and select Turn off content blockers to see if the page loads correctly (doing this will cause ads to appear).
If youre unwilling to do that, at least tell me the name of the extension so I can look it up and see if it has any known issues. Feel free to send me a DU mail you prefer.
If youre not using an adblocker, then we have a different problem. Please let me know either way.
