A former insider turned whistleblower just revealed ties between the Chair of Pennsylvania’s Republican fake electors and the indicted Trump lawyer Sidney Powell, implicating them in dark money cash flows to election auditors in four states with the goal of not solely contesting the 2020 results, but also tampering with future elections.

It is a scheme centered around the Chair of the Republican Party’s fake electors in Pennsylvania named William “Bill” Bachenberg. He was subpoenaed by the House Special Committee to Investigate January 6th in early 2022.

Groups Bachenberg directed were hired and paid for by attorneys acting as his cutouts starting in early 2021 and operating in Michigan, Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Georgia through mid-2022.

The multi-state scheme involved Bill Bachenberg as a surreptitious paymaster and strategist funneling cash through lawyers Sidney Powell, who was at the time in Dallas, Texas, and Stephanie Lambert of Detroit, Michigan, to unlawfully obtain election tabulators. His lawyers thus delivered copies of Dominion election software and its hardware into the hands of unwitting cyber security companies who thought they were genuinely being paid to find system flaws.

It started to unravel in July 2023 when Bill Bachenberg didn’t pay his auditors, and one filed suit in federal court.

6. reminder... after almost two years of proceedings, sidney powell has STILL not been disbarred

the last attempt was tossed out for "procedural errors", which rather than just offering the bar the chance to correct, the judge instead chose to allow an seditionist to just walk away.

Now that she is indicted in GA, and facing another in PA, it seems absolutely insane that she has not been disbarred.

Powell contended that a conspiracy between Dominion Voting Systems and foreign dictators resulted in hundreds of thousands of fraudulent votes cast in favor of President Joe Biden in those states. None of the cases was successful.

Unfortunately, neither has been the state bar’s case so far. State District Judge Andrea Bouressa of Collin County first tossed out the sanctions case in February, and on May 4 refused to reconsider her decision.

Even more disappointing is that Bouressa has based her rulings not on the merits of the bar’s case, but on clerical and procedural errors by the bar. In one ruling, she chastised the bar’s lawyers for not properly ordering their exhibits attached to a filing.

Regardless, we hope the bar appeals Bouressa’s most recent order to the 5th District Court of Appeals in Dallas and that it is sent back to the trial court for a full hearing of the facts. The case deserves that much.

Bill Bachenberg, an NRA board member and a co-chair of an official Trump campaign group Sportsmen for Trump, laughed as audience members at a fundraiser event reacted to his speech with threats to shoot a Democratic politician.

The “Patriots for Trump” fundraiser event took place on October 9 and was held as part of the second annual Rod of Iron Freedom Festival. This festival is “a gathering of far-right ideologues and Second Amendment activists organized by the sons of the late Rev. Sun Myung Moon, the controversial Korean religious leader.”

The festival is connected to the Rod of Iron Ministries, a religious organization that emphasizes gun ownership, has some of its young members undertake “quasi paramilitary training,” and whose members sometimes hold AR-15-style assault weapons and wear crowns made of ammunition during worship. Rod of Iron Ministries founder Sean Moon preaches his belief that the current system of government in the United States will come to an end and he will be named king. The NRA Political Victory Fund, the gun group’s political action committee, paid $180 to rent a booth at the festival.

Bachenberg, who was most recently reelected to the NRA board in 2018, opened his remarks at the fundraising event for Trump by touting his personal meeting with the president and saying, “I bring pleasure and greetings from President Trump and the Sportsmen for Trump coalition.” (Brachenberg is a co-chair of the coalition.)

Bachenberg might have guessed what type reaction he would get. Moments earlier, he had told a story, with bizarre amusement, about when he was giving a speech at a 2016 Trump campaign rally and an audience member reacted to his “from my cold, dead hands” line by shouting “[fucking] bullet to her head.” He said a Secret Service agent turned around and smiled at him after the comment, causing some in the audience at the “Patriots for Trump” event to laugh.
