Senator Tuberville Blames U.S. For Russian Invasion: 'Got Ukraine Into This Mess'

(BTW it was a Russian asset, Mike Flynn, who looked the other way so NATO and President Obama had no
warning of Russia's attack on Crimea and Ukraine in 2014 after which Flynn moved to Russia before coming
to work for Trump)

***********

Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) said the U.S. “got Ukraine into this mess” and expressed frustration with aid to Ukraine as it tries to fend off the ongoing Russian invasion that began in February 2022.

snip

“They’re gonna ask for more money,” he continued. “We’re propping up their government as we speak. We’re paying all their pension funds. We’re paying all their government employees. American people need to understand, this is not just going to the war. It’s going to the 51st state, which is Ukraine.”

snip

“This was not going to end up well for Ukraine,” Tuberville added. “We pretty much kicked this can down the road and got Ukraine into this mess. We can’t get ’em out. Somebody needs to go to Russia, like Joe Biden, and talk them out of what’s going on and get this thing settled before we get into a world war. ”

snip

“Well, we heard it a year-and-a-half ago from President Biden or Pinocchio Joe, whatever you want to call him, that it was gonna be a small incursion,” Tuberville replied. “And we all know now there has been hundreds of thousands of people killed over in Ukraine – both Russian and Ukrainians, but the Ukrainians are getting slaughtered.”

Is Tuberville on Putin's payroll or does Putin have some Kompromat on Tommy? How can anybody vote for
that P.O.S.?

in WAY over his head. There's nothing about his train-wreck of a term that wasn't completely predictable given his imminent qualifications.

Sometimes things are exactly what they seem.

And like sports, they probably have 'talent scouts' out in the field sniffing these fools out. I have long figured that 'must have daddy issues' is high on GOP think tank wish lists. Must have ego that overrides talent and common sense would likely be another qualifier. Easy to corrupt/must be greedy is probably the starting point for the talent scouts.

I might be wrong but I think Vlad has some kompromat on some of them and
Trump used that info to control some GOP members in Congress. Lindsey Graham
changed from a McCain ally to become a Trump sucker after one Columbus Day
golf outing with Trump.

As Kennedy said, 'Pretending to fear government they have asked government to outlaw private protest. They glorify "togetherness" when it is theirs, and call it conspiracy when it is that of others.'

I hope Tuberville eventually realizes that tragedy is the death of the nation's soul rather than the nation's body.
