A New York judge denied Donald Trump’s attempt to delay his fraud trial with just nine handwritten words: “Decline to sign; Defendants’ arguments are completely without merit.”

Wait, that would be logical, so never mind.

Translated, the judge said, through clenched teeth, “Don’t bring this shit into my courtroom again.”

has been conspicuously silent about it this summer. I may send the little loon a Fitzmas card out of sympathy.

So, so very many conversations, stories, reports, and editorials are beginning with "Trump loses..." these days.

Dayum. When a judge makes an order that curt, that breif, it's tantamount to saying, "Your motion isn't worth one iota of my time or thought. So get the hell out of my courtroom, and take your stupid motion and shove it where the sun don't shine. IOW, FERGET it, futhermucker!"

That are in the nothing will ever happen to him camp still.

It was when the Flordia indictment dropped, that I first thought, "whoa, he;s actually going to go to prison now." People are still thinkin house arrest, those peoplke I don't think have been following all that closely.

And there are multiple judges right now that seem to be totally done with his delay tactics. I think it is a near certainty he's a convicted felon before next Fall now. And there's an outside chance he gets sentenced before the 2024 election.

And that raises some just crazy possibilities. Trump wins the nomination, the GOP is lined up behind him and ready for the final push, but late Spetember he gets sentenced to 8 years in prison with his sentence to start October 20th. He could literally be in prison when the election happens.

saying nothing will ever happen to him, but I suspect that once he gets convicted or sentenced, he will be out free while he appeals. I think it will be a long time before he sees bars from the back side. But I think he will eventually--IF the KFC/hamberders don't take him first. It's a race.

He'll probably end up spending more time in court than the campaign trail.

Orange is the new black? Heh. Here's how I have it so far.

civil trial #1 - New York - E. Jean Carroll defamation trial for additional damages because he called her a liar after losing out to her the first time, back in May 2023. Judge Lewis Kaplan presiding.

However, Judge Kaplan just ruled in her favor in one major part.

https://www.cnbc.com/2023/09/06/trump-suffers-big-loss-in-e-jean-carroll-defamation-case-judge-says-hes-liable.html

civil trial #2 - New York - AG Letitia James - Over-inflated his net worth by more than $2 billion - Ms. James wants $250 million in damages.

https://ag.ny.gov/press-release/2022/attorney-general-james-sues-donald-trump-years-financial-fraud

criminal trial #1 - New York - DA Alvin Bragg - falsifying New York business records to conceal information and unlawful activity from voters. EDIT: Also, the entire Michael Cohen and Stormy Daniels hush payment from 2016 is part of this criminal activity. NY District Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil issued most recent ruling.

https://manhattanda.org/district-attorney-bragg-announces-34-count-felony-indictment-of-former-president-donald-j-trump/

criminal trial #2 - Florida - special counsel and federal prosecutor Jack Smith - keeping confidential documents and materials at Mar-a-Lago after Presidential term expired. Showing said documents to people without proper clearances. Attempt to destroy evidence. These are the 30+ boxes kept in a bathroom, and the "flooding" of a pool and IT guy told to clean up and delete servers that housed such incriminating information. District Judge Aileen Cannon presiding.

criminal trial #3 - Washington D.C. - special counsel and federal prosecutor Jack Smith - making false claims about the 2020 election, and attempt to subvert the confirmation process on January 6, 2021. These are the Bedminster Golf Club, NJ searches and investigations that are also included where Dumpster's lawyers said they couldn't find documents that were supposed to be there. Federal District Judge Tanya Chutkan presiding.

https://www.jan-6.com/jack-smith-trump-investigation

criminal trial #4 - Georgia - DA Fani Willis - RICO charges and lying about 2020 election. Recruited "fake electors", intimidation of several poll workers in the state (Ruby Freeman and her daughter Shaye Moss), and making calls to try to overturn the results (to SOS Brad Raffensperger and others). Judge Scott McAfee likely presiding.

The D.C. and Georgia ones some people thought might overlap, but the D.C. one is federal, and the Georgia charges are state.

So far, all attempts by the Georgia defendants to move their respective trials to federal court have failed. Some have tried the "speedy trial" tactic in Georgia, and it blew up in their faces. A few have also tried to "sever" their trials with no success. The Georgia trials and hearings will be televised.

The Georgia charges seem to be the ones that most of the defendants are most concerned with, because if they are convicted, they will do MANDATORY prison time, and cannot be pardoned until serving at least 5 years in state prison. Governor Brian Kemp said he won't interfere with them at all.

Hmm... which will be more orange? His fake skin color or the prison jumpsuit?

Then there are other states, like Arizona, Michigan, and Wisconsin, investigating on their own. We could have more indictments coming down the pike.

Arizona: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/donald-trump-2020-election-alternate-electors-scheme-arizona-investigation/

Michigan has already indicted 16 "fake electors" and criminal voting machine tampering, and may include the man himself in the future.

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/michigan-prosecutors-charge-trump-allies-with-felonies-involving-voting-machine-tampering

Wisconsin:

https://apnews.com/article/wisconsin-fake-trump-electors-lawsuit-2020-12f3abcb9e7b398ded654da51d2b52c2

Right now it is a civil case, but may become a criminal one against the Orange One.

Michael Cohen and Stormy Daniels situation.

So, that is where it is applicable and included as part of the criminal activity concealment.

From that indictment link:

"In a third instance – 12 days before the presidential general election – the Special Counsel wired $130,000 to an attorney for an adult film actress. The Special Counsel, who has since pleaded guilty and served time in prison for making the illegal campaign contribution, made the payment through a shell corporation funded through a bank in Manhattan."
