Could it have been voter fraud?
Or could it be because at least 80% of the people in my neighborhood are black? Hard to say. Maybe I should ask the Maine Republicans to investigate.

(1,098 posts)Does Maine have 107,317 motel rooms? Or if people shared I guess it would be 53,658.5 rooms. Unless they slept in their cars. But wait, wouldn't all those motel room rentals leave a paper trail? And how would those poor, black people be able to afford motel rooms on their meager, food-stamp incomes? How out of touch must this 'person' be if he doesn't even know the racial demographic of his own state? Blacks in rural towns? Um ... it exists. They come and go at will. They got the right to do that some time ago.

(6,837 posts)... the answer isn't all that simple. Can it be called "urban" if pheasants roam around in the vacant land?
Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
