I hope I dont get in trouble for posting this on here. I hope I can get people on democratic underground to care about this problem of online hate speech whether its misogyny, racism, homophobia or anti Semitic, right wing behavior, its important to know that a culture of toxicity online influences American violence.

The issue may be important, but this isn't a petition that will ever be presented to Congress. It is, in the fundraising biz, known as a "butterfly net", intended to collect your phone number and email address for fundraising purposes.

The "petition" form doesn't collect your street address, so no elected official is going to know if you're a constituent or not. If you want to have 100 times more influence, write a letter to your representatives and discuss the issue in your own words.
