The court found that Meadows exceeded his role as WH chief of staff by working directly with the Trump campaign.

Meadows failed to meet the “quite low” standard for removal, Jones rules.

including trump. And it should also stop the haters from criticizing Fani Willis for taking the RICO route. And this includes the several pundits also who keep inferring that she was wrong to go so broad (she actually declined from indicting 20 people that the first grand jury recommended and just indicted 19 of the 39 recommended). Guess they wanted to let the crooks go unpunished?

I think there was under-the-surface racism too in inferring that the Black woman doesn't know what she's doing and is not up to the job.

Meadows seemed to have had the best argument for removal.

The decision makes is clear that the President has no role in the conduct of elections by the states. Since there is no role in the conduct of the election, nothing charged as having been done by Trump or any of his minions can be under the color of their office.

The decision is very well reasoned.

Is it possible these 20 people are being called as cooperating witnesses, or might be charged later? It's possible Willis wanted the strongest cases as quickly as possible to group with PO1135809 and doubling the trial population might have slowed her down?

Meadows was electioneering and as a federal employee, which he is in his role as Chief of Staff, he is not supposed to be electioneering. So, that's why. People like COS often weave in and out of those roles. It isn't illegal to do so. As long as they use a separate phone, email etc. The Hatch Act is fairly broad.

The Hatch Act does not apply to POTUS. So, it will be a different kind of case with Trump.

It's like when Abbott was gonna pardon the Army sergeant who killed a BLM protester. I was told on DU that the military could try the case even though the guy was off-duty working for Uber at the time and the crime occurred in the City of Austin, which is about 60 miles from where he was stationed.

Raffesberger to find him 11,000 some votes still exists, as does the whole plot to submit fake elector docs.

That evidence doesn't disappear because it goes to federal court, which again I doubt, his ass is going to be found guilty.

Joyce Vance on MSNBC just mentioned that he was arm twisting as a campaign action, a big no-no, and his chances of getting switched are not nearly as strong as Meadow's which already failed.

that the judge wrote in his decision that the executive has no business in meddling in the state's elections. That will most certainly apply to Trump's attempt to move.

Bring on the cameras, turn on the lights, watch the cockroaches run.
