Whoa! Talk about 'Consciousness of Guilt'. This is it...

https://www.rawstory.com/trump-mar-a-lago-tapes/

'Alarmed' Trump security chief intervened to keep crucial Mar-a-Lago tapes from being destroyed'

'... the New York Times is reporting that Trump's head of security made a fateful decision that helped out special counsel Jack Smith's investigation...Mar-a-Lago property manager Carlos De Oliveira contacted Yuscil Taveras to meet him "somewhere more private" to discuss deleting the surveillance video..."According to the indictment...Mr. De Oliveira led him through a basement tunnel to a small room known as an 'audio closet,' where Mr. De Oliveira delivered a message from Mr. Trump: 'the boss' wanted the footage deleted. Mr. Taveras rebuffed the request, prosecutors said in the indictment, but Mr. De Oliveira raised it again."

Noting that Taveras once again denied the request, the report states that Taveras then reportedly confided to fellow employee Renzo Nivar about what had happened and days later alerted "a superior in Trump Tower..."One executive in New York, Matthew Calamari Jr., the Trump Organization’s corporate director of security, apparently became alarmed, according to people with knowledge of the matter. He alerted the company’s legal department, prompting a senior lawyer at the company to deliver a stern warning not to delete anything."

and it is the normal MO for these clowns. I also believe that he is still getting "advice/directions" from Putin etc. about steps to take to handle these matters as they proceed. I'm willing to bet that they never thought the matter of the documents would be discovered before they could "find new homes for them" in the first place. When it was found that they had been taken the plan had to change to one of denial and delay for as long as they could. But given the known history of willing illegality on the part of this guy the Feds should have moved way quicker than they did. I still think that we may have been getting tipped to the goings on from some friendly foreign intelligence people who were "hearing" about "things that might be available" etc.

...and they would be left holding the bag. Once they were informed of a potential crime they only had two choices: 1) keep their hands clean or 2) actively participate in the coverup. With the first choice they risk their job, with the second choice they risk their freedom. They knew the feds were looking at Trump. If some other insider decided to cooperate anyone who went along with the plot risked doing time for Trump.

His tweets were careful to avoid direct language. But perhaps the power of being president went to his head, and he got sloppy thinking he was untouchable by anyone. Jack Smith and Fani Willis are showing him that he screwed up big time.

Is that Trump just asked this guy to destroy tapes and the guy is like sure no problem I'll tell the IT guy. Like it's just another day at the criminal enterprise known as Trump. Either De Oliveira was use to doing unethical and illegal things for Trump, or he was so in enamored with Trump he just didn't think.

This guy, De Oliveira, was a Portuguese immigrant and Trump's valet and handyman before he became the property manager.

Seems Trump uses all his valets as bag men. I wonder about the other 4 valets Trump had in the White House? Did they help in Trump's crimes too? He likes to find them poor and willing to follow orders. Another perk of being a filthy-rich capitalist is that money will buy you valet bag men.

ruined by J6, the kids were liberal and parents both fell hard for Trump were according to daughter normal republicans before him. The son who was 18 sent a tip to FBI and ended up testifying against his own father because he brought a gun and helped lead with bullhorn that day. He got 7 yrs. Now they can't be together with their mom without fighting and she left the older teens to be near DC to help Trump. They are crazy cultists!

My point is his cult will do anything for him even ruin their family.

How easily so many once conservative adults have fallen into the cult of Trump. They destroy their own lives to do it.

I blame it on religion. I think if you can convince people of a magical super daddy in the sky, and to wait for after death for fairness and comfort, then you can convince them that some filthy-rich, rotound, balding orange man with fake teeth and diapers is the second coming. (You would think their god's 2nd showing would at least have real teeth, a head of hair and be able to control his bowels)

Also it doesn't hurt that the filthy rich all want to move out of democracy into fascism so they can have more control over the masses. Plus the fascist wannabes own most of the media outlets and social media sites.

I can see this - to a point.

That point being when Matty “The Squid” Calamari, one of Trump’s muscle-men, became “alarmed” and notified Trump’s corporate attorneys.

“The Squid” was more likely to have skipped the attorneys and immediately taken the next flight out to Florida to “have a little talk” with Tavares.

Not to leave out that there were stories about Calamari being in Mar-a-Lago around the time the security office was flooded.
