In old interviews and on panels he'd be fine, like a professor first year students love because he says fun exciting things, but at the mention of President Obama he'd go off on unhinged rants and make everyone uncomfortable, now he's like a crazed right-wing relative who never stops yelling about imaginary things. The populist movement/revolution is so often about ego -- they're the only one pure enough to save The People from the enemy (always Democrats). Nuts.
