I'm Of The Firm Belief That The Tr**p Coup Is Still On-Going And That....

many things are happening in concert with Tr**p actions and those of the Repugs - both behind the scenes and in full public view - to point to an on-going coup on a National basis and those actions happening on a State-To-State basis.

It is up to the Dems now to expose all those things that indicate that we're watching in slow motion - an on-going coup.

That message must be shouted out now and up to and until the election - that this is what is going on.

The American Public should be well attuned to this and be told what the impact of that means on their lives - if Tr**p and Company are effective and successful.

The Dems need to be as relentless in their counteraction to Tr**p and Company's relentless day to day attacks on our democracy.

They have SCOTUS, a weak hold on the House, a majority of state governments, and are railroading school boards.

But their ability to consolidate and grow that far-flung basis for power is in doubt. Democrats if they vote well can stall their progress for several election cycles if not decades. Trump redux is in court with 4 major court cases.

I don't know how far I can agree with the OP. More details would be needed to convince me.

Probably multiple screaming frantic phone calls and he wore McCarthy down finally.

He is also in cahoots with Tubby about the military promotions and trying to destroy our military. Too bad someone can’t get a court order to wiretap Tubby and find out who is pressuring him to destroy our military. Yep, I agree the orange maggot is behind he scenes trying overthrow our government.

and MAGA dangers. Peaceful, informative demonstrations done with creativity about location, signs, and clothing (like the pink pussy hats of the women's march).

Positive image demonstrations that are attention getting.

Flyers, posters, signs.

Spreading informative and entertaining videos on social media.

Dem spokespersons making accurate, bold statements that draw media attention.

Hold "democracy rallies" with speakers like Dem members of Congress, legal experts, musicians and actors who support democracy. Even if the media ignore the rallies, the people who attend will learn from the speakers, have a good time, and have their enthusiasm for Dems and democracy increased.

Get out and meet the people where they are, discuss issues, listen to people's concerns.

tfg in office, and they will do it again. The other ideas are a place to start. We need a plan and we need leaders. If one stupid monster can rally millions of the least intelligent people to destroy America, think what a charismatic leader could do -- someone like Obama. Although Biden has done a wonderful job, it isn't widely known. His likely-rigged poll numbers indicate he is not the one for a movement. I'm all for Biden as a leader of government, but not one with the energy and charisma who can rally millions.

Funded and run by Russia. This is a long game. Russia/Putin knew they did not have the money to destroy the US from without, so they chose to destroy us from within by conspiring with the Oligarchs in our country in doing a soft overthrow.

Unfortunately our openness can be used against us if those in power are owned and controlled by Moscow.

My opinion, not based on anything but observation, reading and careful thought.

How do you stop an invasion when those invading are already here and running our government systems?

They've known for some time that the demographics do not favor them.

They have to find an alternate way to hang on to power.

That's what they're doing with Citizen United, monopolizing the media (and now social media), gerrymandering, voter restrictions, etc

If they have to get out their guns, I think a bunch of them will.

Thinks that is not paying attention…

“Let not any one pacify his conscience by the delusion that he can do no harm if he takes no part, and forms no opinion. Bad men need nothing more to compass their ends, than that good men should look on and do nothing. He is not a good man who, without a protest, allows wrong to be committed in his name, and with the means which he helps to supply, because he will not trouble himself to use his mind on the subject.”
