On the gun charge

As soon as the noise abates, the charge will be dropped because Weiss knows it stands a snowball's chance in Hell in front of a jury.

This was a middle finger salute to Motherfucker's cultists.

It won't be dropped. Too late for that. Too late for another plea again also.

And given that hunter has already admitted to it in his book, he will probably be convicted.

The only questions are, will he serve any time. Will it be overturned on appeal.

Anderson Cooper had a really good segment on it.
One lawyer whose name I keep missing. She’s sharp as a tack as the saying goes. Andrew McCabe. Also an older lawyer whom I’ve never seen before.

They broke it down well. His confession/admission was part of his plea deal. The plead deal, they all agreed, could be enforced. Hunter’s lawyers will definitely push for that. The older gentleman agreed with all this.

McCabe also added that if Hunter lost but won on appeal it couldn’t endanger The BRADY Act.

The prosecutor is in a jam. He can't really go back to a plea after waffling on the last one and then Indicting again. If he wanted a deal, he could have just worked one out.

9. From what I could tell

The judge questioned whether the deal meant that no further charges could be brought against hunter biden, basically giving him immunity for the time period going back to the statute of limitations for known offenses.

Hunters lawyers said yes.

The prosecution said no.

They couldn't agree (why accept a plea deal if you were just going to be charged with something else anyway?).

10. I believe plea deals with immunity for future prosecution for crimes laid out in the deal are common

I'm certainly no legal expert. Blanket immunity for any other possible unrelated crime that could have also been committed, I would think would be quite unusual and one I can't see many prosecutors agreeing to.
