I vape and I also work from home, and during work hours I'll take a pull and get a dry hit (meaning the tank is empty and the coil is burning as a result), then look down and realize I've been chain vaping without being aware of it. But that's at home.

I've only ever vaped once in a place I shouldn't, but I was immediately aware of it and was like, "Oh shit." I'd just walked into a mall and my mind was elsewhere and it was just a habitual action.
