With the Kentucky governors race just a few months away, all eyes are on rising Republican star state Attorney General Daniel Cameron, as he looks to unseat popular Democratic Gov. Andy Beshear, while Beshears campaign ramps up the pressure on Cameron around the issue of abortion.
Kentucky, a traditionally red state, is serving as a trial run for Republicans on the issue ahead of next years presidential election, which will be the first since the U.S. Supreme Court's ruled to overturn Roe v. Wade and return the issue of abortion back to the states. In the post-Roe aftermath, anti-abortion forces have suffered defeats in a number of states, including Kentucky.
Cameron, according to the Associated Press, has touted his objection to abortion on the campaign trail, saying that he wants to make sure that our most cherished and valued asset, our unborn, have every opportunity to reach their fullest and God-given potential.
In an ad put out by Camerons campaign last year, the narrator states only one candidate stopped abortion in Kentucky, referring to the many legal battles Cameron took on over the issue of abortion while serving as attorney general.

I hope Beshear triples down on advertising highlighting what damage can be inflicted on innocents by this guy.
Note - no offense to weasels.

Seems like Democrats are on a roll but alas corporate media inundate us with favorable polling on shithole which in my opinion is BS.
