You are either the oppressed or an oppressor. If you arent actively pushing back on those doing the oppression than you are supporting and helping them.

it struck me like a thunderbolt that the Civil Rights Movement was not just about liberating black people from oppression. It was also about liberating white people from being oppressors. I wasn't a Christian or even religious, but that resonated. My soul was being freed from a terrible sin.
