Have this clown show, I mean hearing, on in the background

and I noticed something funny. Even without listening, it is obvious who the R questioners are. Smarmy, smirky, unpleasant expressions and nonstop talking. The nonverbal cues are very telling. No pausing for answers, no expressions of curiosity or general concern. Nothing genuine at all.

I can't tell which party the questioners are by looking at Garland though. He has the same polite, non expression no matter who the questioner is.

Good for Garland, but I am getting more and more tired of Dems always having to be the grownups in the room no matter what. Plus, they get no credit for it anyway.

seems to be almost enjoying himself...he opened with a "fuck you and the MAGA asshole you rode in on" and stared down screeching Jordan and his band of frothing buffoons with a enigmatic expression of calm contempt...not a bad day...

It’s circular. They say what’s everyday talk radio and Fox pablum so they get invited on to the same to say the same things and to give hosts something to say.

this MAGA charade..he spoke of family members lost in the Holocaust so when that asshat Jeff Van Drew accused the DOJ of religious discrimination, Garland showed his fangs...Jordan and his band of squawking baboons are coming across as middle school mean girls in the throes of a "Daddy, that not nice man is kicking my ass, make him stop!" temper tantrum...

Was he able to win re-election by going full MAGA? How weird. I thought he was from a purple district.

Just as you reject the nastiness and astonishing dishonesty of the Republicans on the screen, you'd reject even a lite version coming out of the Democrats' mouths.

WE all would ultimately, even those who imagine we'd benefit from a dash of MAGAish aggression.

This really is a fundamental difference between us and their voters -- who demand what they're providing.

I mentioned to my husband earlier that merely the tone of voice in the first couple of words, not the words themselves or looking up to see, told me which party a speaker was with. It's the voice of their dirty political ads. He said of course.
