Chris Hayes just did the same thing. He said the real test that can't be denied is the number of special elections that Democrats have been winning, and winning over the margin.

Tuesday in Allegheny county, Pa. the Democrat overperformed and won by 14 or 18 points, I forget. Also in N.H. the Democrat won in a district that Trump won.

Hayes had a list of special elections and Democrats were overperforming in all of them, even when the Democrat lost, he/she overperformed.

I ignore the polls.
